Its amazing what our Michigan staff has accomplished with a full year of recruiting under their belts. If you remember last year at this time MSU was off to the races with their 2009 class but the story this year seems a bit different.
As of now the MSU Spartans have one verbal commitment in their 2010 class: Max Bullough, ILB, 6'3",209-Traverse City, MI-St Francis.
If you look at Michigan's class they are off to the races thus far with many more targets to come:
Drew Dileo ATH 5-9 175 Greenwell Springs, LA
Tony Drake RB 5-9 178 Dallas, TX
Devin Gardner QB 6-4 195 Detroit, MI
Stephen Hopkins RB 6-0 220 Flower Mound, TX
Jeremy Jackson WR 6-3 194 Ann Arbor, MI
Antonio Kinard LB 6-4 210 Youngstown, OH
Ricardo Miller WR 6-2 208 Orlando, FL
Jerald Robinson WR 6-2 175 Canton, OH
Marvin Robinson LB 6-1 190 Eagle Lake, FL
D.J. Williamson WR 6-1 172 Warren, OH
The great thing is Michigan has many more State of Michigan targets they're looking at along with several defensive targets in the State of Ohio. As we move through the summer you can expect to see more defense with the final 9-10 scholarships available in this 2010 class.

It will be interesting to see how the upcoming season shapes out. It is no question that Michigan should be in better shape this season, but Dantonio seems to have a really good impact on the MSU squad.
