Dan O'Neill has left Michigan

Rumor becomes truth as many bloggers were holding off from reporting but its true. The big tackle from Grand Haven, MI just couldn't get up to the level of competitiveness it takes to play at Michigan and thus is no longer on the team.

A highly recruited player by Coach Carr, this 6'6-290 lb tackle will not be back and its not yet known if he was asked to leave or decided to leave on his own. We'll find out more about if he's going to try and play elsewhere or if he'll just fade away at Michigan as a student.

We're in good shape with regard to our future line at Michigan but you can expect us to grab a no less than four OL for the 2010 class. If we could grab the Henderson kid out of Minnesota we'd forget about losing O'Neill and Kurt Wermers real fast.
