Interview with Ricardo Miller

Bo: Why was Michigan the place for you from the beginning?

RM: Ever since I went to camp in 2008 and saw the campus and got a chance to see what Michigan was all about, I knew that Michigan was for me. Also, when I was 8 years old, I was watching Michigan and seeing Jason Avant and Braylon Edwards...I pictured myself wearing the winged helmet and that really stuck in my head, I wanted to be apart of something great. I want to go down in history with as one of the many greats that played receiver at Michigan.

Bo: Who are you helping to recruit to Michigan?

RM: I am helping to recruit Josh Furman, Sharriff Floyd, Torian Wilson, Seantrel Henderson and Tony Grimes and a few others. I am not heavy cause the season hasn't really started yet so I am just letting everybody enjoy summer.

Bo: What part of your game to you to improve on the most?

RM: I think the thing I need to work on most is my concentration because I lose focus on the ball whether its looking up field early or not tucking the ball. Its not a huge habit I have to worry about but I want to cut out all flaws of my game. Also, the overhead catch gives me a little trouble as well.

Bo: Who is your favorite player at Michigan all-time?

RM: My favorite Michigan player has to be Braylon Edwards. The way he played at michigan with a certain swagger like no other receiver I had seen and the records he has there speak for themselves. A lot of folks compare me to Braylon him so I'd like to think that I can be as good as him if not better. Braylon is by far my favorite Wolverine.
