Flash Back: 1985-Mich 27 OSU 17

Do yourself a favor and watch this video for 5 minutes or so. You can't believe the names you hear from both teams and how it jogs so many memories...just awesome if you ask me.

To me we've not seen a QB at Michigan that meant so much to a team as Harbaugh. In addition, I'll go a step further and say he's probably one of the best leaders that ever put on the Michigan uniform too.
Harbaugh had all the tools to be successful on the field and in the locker room as well. As an example of his abilities watch at the 7 minute mark in this video where he scrambles to his right then finds Eric Kattus in the endzone for a TD. If you really watch the play close you'll notice its the exact play that Montana hit Dwight Clark with to beat the Cowboys. You can bet Bo and his staff added this play after they saw how successful it was.

Austin White Picks Michigan!

Austin White, Livonia Stevenson-RB committed to Michigan this morning over many top schools. The four start RB decided to offer is verbal a few days ago to the Michigan coaching staff but formally announced it today. He chose Michigan over-MSU, LSU, IL to name a few schools.

In addition, his parents are MSU alumni and both his brothers play football at MSU so his choice to play at Michigan was huge. As you can imagine there will be a lot of competitive banter at the White dinner table now.

Interview with Ricardo Miller

Bo: Why was Michigan the place for you from the beginning?

RM: Ever since I went to camp in 2008 and saw the campus and got a chance to see what Michigan was all about, I knew that Michigan was for me. Also, when I was 8 years old, I was watching Michigan and seeing Jason Avant and Braylon Edwards...I pictured myself wearing the winged helmet and that really stuck in my head, I wanted to be apart of something great. I want to go down in history with as one of the many greats that played receiver at Michigan.

Bo: Who are you helping to recruit to Michigan?

RM: I am helping to recruit Josh Furman, Sharriff Floyd, Torian Wilson, Seantrel Henderson and Tony Grimes and a few others. I am not heavy cause the season hasn't really started yet so I am just letting everybody enjoy summer.

Bo: What part of your game to you to improve on the most?

RM: I think the thing I need to work on most is my concentration because I lose focus on the ball whether its looking up field early or not tucking the ball. Its not a huge habit I have to worry about but I want to cut out all flaws of my game. Also, the overhead catch gives me a little trouble as well.

Bo: Who is your favorite player at Michigan all-time?

RM: My favorite Michigan player has to be Braylon Edwards. The way he played at michigan with a certain swagger like no other receiver I had seen and the records he has there speak for themselves. A lot of folks compare me to Braylon him so I'd like to think that I can be as good as him if not better. Braylon is by far my favorite Wolverine.

Gallon qualifies to play for Michigan

Its was kind of scary there for a while but Jeremy Gallon finally passed his ACT by 6 points. In addition, he passed his summer course with an "A" so he's now ready to play for Michigan this fall.

This kid is nothing less than electric on the field with an uncanny ability to find the holes in the defensive secondary. He's kinda like a Desmond Howard but not as fast as Howard was.

This is just another weapon in the Coach RR arsenal that will arrive in the fall and make it very hard for teams to defend against. I'm sure you'll see this kid play on the outside and inside during his freshman year at Michigan.
